Amanda Andrews

Amanda focuses her practice primarily in the areas of domestic and international estate planning and taxation. Amanda’s experience has included estate planning, federal and state taxation issues, trust administration, estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer taxes, probate, estate administration, tax compliance and charitable planning with an emphasis on cross-border transactions. She advises ultra-high-net-worth families, family offices, entrepreneurs and closely held businesses.

Amanda earned a Master of Laws in Taxation degree from the Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and earned a Juris Doctor degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law where she received a public service award for pro-bono activities. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Davidson College.

Amanda is licensed to practice law in Illinois and New York. She is a member of the Chicago Estate Planning Council and the Chicago Bar Association. Amanda is former Chair of the Chicago Bar Association’s YLS Estate Planning Committee, and is a frequent presenter on various topics ranging from international estate planning to planning for art and other collectibles.
